Ryan Erwin

Ryan Erwin is an Indigenous (Heiltsuk First Nation) lawyer with deep roots in Burnaby, where he was born and raised and continues to call home. A graduate of Marlborough Elementary and Burnaby Central Secondary, he grew up in local sports, theatre, and community programs—experiences that shaped his lifelong commitment to the city and its people.

Ryan currently provides pro bono legal support to seniors with Seniors First BC and works as a provincial constituency advisor in Burnaby, helping residents navigate government services and solve real, everyday challenges. His work is focused on making systems more accessible and responsive to the people they serve.

With over 15 years of experience in community advocacy, Ryan brings a results-oriented, community-first approach. He is known for listening closely, working collaboratively, and following through. Ryan is committed to supporting a Burnaby that remains welcoming, connected, and full of opportunity for everyone who calls it home.
