Heather Nagai has proudly called Burnaby home for the past 15 years, where she lives with her family and has been actively involved in her community. She graduated as valedictorian from her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and served on the UBC Board of Governors. She worked as a Registered Nurse in post-operative and critical care.
Heather is a dedicated advocate for strong public education and accessible public healthcare. Over the past decade, she has coached and managed youth soccer and baseball teams, contributed to Burnaby’s hockey community, and volunteered with school lunch programs. As a past DPAC representative, she has worked closely with parents and schools, advocating for inclusive policies and increased supports for students, teachers, and staff.
